In April of 2007, Raymond entered and completed a 350-mile month-long foot race to the magnetic north pole, hauling a 100-pound sled at minus 40 degrees dodging polar bears. This wasn't him in his comfort zone. Exhausted, cold, frightened, Raymond made it every day, every hour, minute to minute, putting one foot in front of the other, and made it. Raymond talks about how for almost everybody in the world, their comfort zone is so tiny, they can't go one degree above room temperature without dying, one degree below without freezing. They can't walk a flight of stairs without dying in their mind. They take the same route to work, they go to the same restaurants, and even at the same restaurants, eat the same food. Life is a challenge and you must take every opportunity you are presented with and persevere.
